Riptide Energy is a product design project centered on building a complete beverage brand from the ground up using a custom typeface I created called *Breakthrough*. The goal was to explore how typography can drive the structure of a physical product, from logo development to packaging and flavor differentiation. I designed the full can system, including label layout, color coding for individual flavors, and supporting graphics that balance shelf visibility with clear information hierarchy. The ocean-inspired visual language and bold vertical typography were developed to communicate motion, energy, and performance while remaining practical for real-world production and retail environments. This project reflects my interest in product design as a problem-solving process where branding, usability, and visual impact work together to create a cohesive and functional product experience.
